Drake & Future's new song calls Kylie Jenner a "side piece"

Drake and Future just gave Kylie Jenner the most unexpected shout-out. On Wednesday night, an undisclosed song from the two rappers went viral after it was debuted during Night Owl Sound's Instagram Live. In it, Drake and Future namedrop the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star as they detail the women they've slept with, calling Kylie a "side piece" and using her as a point of reference.

"Yeah, I'm a hater to society," Future can be heard rapping in a video obtained by fans and shared to Twitter. "Real s--t, Kylie Jenner, that's a side piece / Yeah, I got 20 motherf--kin' Kylies."

Kylie wasn't the only celebrity to receive a shout-out by the "Jumpman" rappers. In a similar lyric, the duo also mention Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid as well. "Yeah, I got 20 damn Kendalls," Drake raps. "Young slim baddies and they in Vogue / Yeah, I got 20 f--kin' Gigis."

Taking to social media the following morning, Drake assured fans that there was no disrespect intended and that the track was actually recorded three years prior. "A song that mark ran last night on night owl sound set shouldn't have been played," he wrote on his Instagram Stories. "It's a song that leaked 3 years ago and got scrapped shortly after. He was just going too deep in the drake/ future catalogue."

He continued, "Last thing I'd want to do is wake up having any friends of mine feeling disrespected so I just had to say that to start off the day."

Back in October, Drake and the Kylie Cosmetics mogul found themselves in the center of romance rumors when they were spotted out and about on several different occasions.

A 60-year-old man, Yikatey Somatey, has been arrested for killing his wife at Gando near Nyanyema, a suburb of the Sawla-Tuna Kalba District of the Savannah region in Ghana after he accused her of having affairs with another man.

The suspect accused his wife, Bora Bonbiatey 57, of cheating on him by having affairs with another man in their community.

Information gathered by Ghanaweb, an online news medium in Ghana, indicated that the man lured his wife to the bush in the name of performing a family ritual.

While in the bush, he poured pepper in her face before using a machete to inflict multiple wounds on her, leading to her death.

He was then said to have disposed off the body at a nearby bush and absconded. He was however arrested a few hours later.

According to the Sawla District Police Commander, ASP Degraft Armah Adjei who confirmed the news to journalists, the woman’s uncle reported the incident to the police.

“When the police got there, the deceased was lying lifeless with multiple wounds on her head believed to be from cutlass.”
The body of the deceased has since been handed over to the family for burial, he added.

Man who sealed wife’s private parts with superglue smoked out of hideout

A 30-year-old Tharaka Nithi man who assaulted his wife and sealed her genitalia, mouth and ears in a fit of jealousy has been arrested.

The man, identified as Kifo Muriuki was smoked from his hideout in Kaningo, Kitui County by a combined team from Directorate of Criminal Investigations Tseikuru, Special Crimes Unit and DCI Tharaka South.

Police have not yet revealed where they are holding the suspect, who had been on the run since Saturday, May 16, when he committed the heinous act.

According to the police report, Muriuki first lured his wife out of their Marimanti township home, fearing that he would be arrested after having travelled from Nairobi where there is a lockdown.

“They both went and on reaching River Kathita, he ordered her to remove all her clothes so that she may tell him all the men she had slept with while he was at Nairobi,” the woman told the police in her report.

At first, she said she declined the odd request but the man descended on her with blows while threatening to stab her with the knife he was holding.

After she complied, the man is said to have sprayed pepper and salt on her private parts and then applied superglue.

Worse still, the man then applied the same superglue on her ears and mouth.

Schools will reopen soon but no date ― Federal government

The Federal Government has disclosed that there are plans to soon reopen schools nationwide, saying, however, that this will not be done in two weeks as being speculated in some quarters.

Minister of State for Education, Chukwuemeka Nwajiuba, made the clarification on Thursday during the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19 news conference in Abuja following rumours making the round the Federal Government would reopen schools in the next two weeks.

The Federal Government had ordered the indefinite closure of educational institutions nationwide as part of measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19 pandemic.

But Nwajiuba while responding to questions from the media on when the government’s plans to reopen to the schools following the easing of the lockdown, said the schools would be reopened when the safety of the school children could be guaranteed.

He said the government was wary not to endanger the lives of the school children and further spread of the coronavirus in the society.

He added that his ministry is working with other relevant stakeholders and agencies of government to put necessary measure in place that would guarantee the safety of children before the schools are reopened.

He said: “We all are seriously interested in reopening and I believe we will reopen soon. But I can’t confirm what your children said that we will reopen in two weeks.
“The issue around reopening has nothing to do with the availability of the schools or not. It has to do with national governance. The idea of shutting down the schools has nothing to do with the schools per se.

“You heard the chairman of the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19, the SGF, keep saying it is a national response. It is a single national response and everything we do flows from that.

“When they determine, I’m sure you have seen all the experts here, that there is the measure of safety to which we can expose our children, we will gladly do that. We are watching and we are working with all bodies within and outside the country.

“The five countries of West African Examination Council (WAEC) are meeting and I just came out of a meeting with African Union (AU) Ministers of Education, everybody is concerned as you are. We hope to reopen very soon.
